The 2009 SLAIS Career Expo is located on the 4th Floor of the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre at SLAIS on UBC's Point Grey campus.

Getting to UBC - Driving

If you are driving, UBC can be reached from 10th Ave (University Blvd) or 4th Ave (Chancellor Blvd). We recommend you use MapQuest or another mapping service for directions. This address (6115 Student Union Boulevard, Vancouver, BC, V6T 1Z1) is to the North Parkade. The North Parkade is the closest parking structure to SLAIS. We will also give you a parking voucher for the North Parkade, which will cover your parking cost. Take the parking receipt when entering the parking structure, and we will swap it out with the pre-paid voucher when you get to SLAIS.

Getting to the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre & SLAIS

Irving K. Barber Learning Centre is located directly across the courtyard from the North Parkade. Use the main entrance of the Barber Learning Centre; take the elevator to the fourth floor. SLAIS is located cross from the elevator in the corner. If you get lost, please call the front desk at 604-822-2404.

Getting to UBC - Busing

If you are busing, SLAIS can be reached from the main bus loop (across from the Student Union Building) or the trolley bus loop (next to the pool and the War Memorial Gym). From both loops, walk toward campus. From the main bus loop, walk toward the Student Union Building. The Barber Centre is located beyond the Student Union Building and across the wooded courtyard. Enter through the main doors, and take the elevator to the 4th floor. SLAIS is located across from the elevator in the corner. If you get lost, please call the front desk at 604-822-2404.

From the trolley bus loop, walk past the pool, angling to the right of the parking lot/construction zone. Continue past the grassy knoll to East Mall. From East Mall you will see a large glass building to your right, which is the Barber Centre. Enter through the main doors, and take the elevator to the 4th floor. SLAIS is located across from the elevator in the corner. If you get lost, please call the front desk at 604-822-2404.
