Good morning. Or good afternoon. Or good night. I have no idea what salutation to use, dear reader, because in this medium (the internet), a lot about language is all jimmied up. I have therefore taken it upon myself to explain and uncover some of the wild and wacky mysteries of language on the internet. If you would like some explanation as to why I should assume that I have any authority in the matter, you may look at my biography, which will tell you that I have no authority whatsoever, just some good books and a degree in the arts. So, with no further ado, I bring you Dot.Communication: A dark and mysterious exploration of the effects of all this new-fangled technology on the English language. This website is the result of hours and hours of painful toil by Cen Campbell, who hopes to receive credit for LIBR 500: Foundations of Information Technology, which was taught exceedingly well by Susie Stephenson, who wants this assignment by December 10th, 2004.
