There are a great number of websites on
the internet about librarians. Many of them appear to be an
attempt to thwart the traditional librarian stereotype. There are
sites that show the various tattoos and piercings of librarians.
Ones that show great librarians in history. There's the Bellydancing Librarian, the Lipstick
Librarian, and the Leather
Librarian to name just a few. Many of these sites contain
links to other sites on the same or similar topics. It would take
a very long time to explain the content of these sites, never mind the
value they may have in debunking the librarian stereotype.
