PRE or CO-REQUISITES : LIBR 501 a required co-requisite
GOALS: The goal of this course is to provide students with the foundations of information technologies and their use in knowledge-based organizations.
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course students will be able to:
- Create a PowerPoint presentation using PowerPoint 2007
- Create simple pages using hand-coded HTML
- Create simple pages using an HTML editor
- Create and use external CSS stylesheets
- Create a World Wide Web presentation using a WYSIWYG program
- Understand the basic concepts of relationbal database design
- Understand and be able to discuss the course topics listed below
