Additional Fees
The normal fee for a full-time master’s degree at SLAIS is as follows:
Full-time versus Part-time Fees
All master’s students are automatically assessed fees as full-time students and must follow the two-year schedule of payments (Schedule A). Fee payment Schedule B which allows payment over three years for candidates planning to complete the degree by part-time study is only available by application to and approval by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Students who select Schedule B are advised that, by virtue of their part-time status, they are ineligible to receive government loans, interest-free status, or most University scholarships. Students must choose Schedule B payment before starting the first term. You may not switch from Schedule B to Schedule A, or vice versa, once the first tuition installment is paid.
Candidates who have paid more than the minimum for the degree (three installments on Schedule A or nine on Schedule B) will have their fees prorated to the end of the month in which the Faculty of Graduate Studies confirms that all degree requirements have been completed. Students must maintain continuous year-round registration until all degree requirements are completed, including terms in which students chose not to enroll in any courses.

Every candidate enrolled in a graduate program is required to maintain continuous registration by paying tuition installments according to schedule A or B plus authorized student fees, as listed below.
