• Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) Library. " ...has an international research collection devoted to the history of architecture and the built environment. It comprises over 180, 000 volumes with emphasis on rare books and special collections relating to the history of architectural theory, practice, and publishing from the fifteenth century to the present." • ArtServe: Art & architecture mainly from Mediterranean Basin This Australian National University server contains over 1.2 gigabytes of data which are not available elsewhere. It offers a variety of image collections and small presentations, all of which deal in some way with Art History.
• Building Canada A selection of images from the John Bland Collection of Canadian Architecture. The aim of the Building Canada project was to digitize a selection of these images so that more people could see examples of Canada's architectural history. The title of the project, Building Canada, is referential to both the structures that are depicted and how the built environment of Canada is reflective of the country's builders, past, present and future.

• The Great Buildings Collection "... documents hundreds of buildings and leading architects with 3D models, photographic images and architectural drawings, plus commentaries, bibliographies, and web links, for famous designers and structures of all kinds." The Library also has a cd-rom version of this collection (NA 200 M288 1994 cd-rom); please ask for it at the Fine Arts Reference Desk. While not a strong resource for Canadian topics, this site is well-organized and provides a number of searching approaches.
