picture of desktop computer The computer can be an incredible tool for assisting the disabled.  Its flexible nature allows data to be entered and displayed in just about any format.  Over-the-counter monitor and keyboard/mouse combinations can be modified, adapted, or simply replaced to suit any user's particular needs.  This web site explores and presents some of the assistive computer technology currently available, with a particular focus on applications to improve access to the world wide web.
